2.See the City from Cristo Redendor

Possible the most famous thing in Rio de Janeiro apart from the Carnival and the beaches, Cristo Redendor is a huge statue of Jesus looking over the sprawling metropolis that is Rio de Janeiro from up high on a hill that locals call ‘the hunchback’. The hill rises right in the middle of the city so there isn’t a point of Rio from where the redeemer’s statue isn’t visible particularly when brightly lit at night.

3.A Day at the Beach
